
Frogs open up six-game home stand Friday

FORT WORTH, Texas -
The TCU Horned Frog baseball team opens up a six-game home stand Friday night when they play host to Utah in the opener of a three-game series. The Frogs enter the contest tied atop the conference standings with New Mexico with a 13-5 mark in league play. Game time for the series opener is set for 6:30 p.m. at Lupton Stadium. Game two on Saturday starts at 2 p.m. with the series finale slated for a a 1 p.m. start on Sunday.
TCU NOTABLES
• TCU finished the month of April with a 16-4 mark after splitting the first two games of this week.
• TCU dropped a tightly contested match to No. 5 Texas A&M on Tuesday and rebounded with a 5-2 win over UT-Arlington Wednesday.
• The Frogs are tied atop the standings with New Mexico and have two games in hand over the Lobos.
• TCU is 11-1 in its last four conference series, with three sweeps.
