
TCU earns top seed for MWC Championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The TCU men's tennis team earned the No. 1 seed for this year's Mountain West Conference Championships, the league office announced on Tuesday. The Horned Frogs claimed a share of the MWC regular season title with New Mexico and Utah, and received the top seed based on their No. 36 national ranking.
The Frogs will begin play on April 25 at 2 p.m. after a first-round bye. TCU will meet the winner of the match between No. 4 UNLV and No. 5 BYU.
TCU went 18-6 overall this season and 5-1 in regular season league play. The Frogs earned their first No. 1 seed for the conference tournament since joining the league prior to the 2006 season.
The Frogs will wrap up regular season play on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Dallas against No. 47 SMU.
