
TCU set to face No. 50 Fresno State, No. 15 Pepperdine

The Frogs are led by senior Cosmin Cotet, who holds a 12-4 singles record at the top position and is currently ranked No. 29 nationally. Junior Kriegler Brink remains undefeated in singles play this season with a 15-0 record.
Fresno State enters Friday's contest with a 9-6 record and a No. 50 national ranking. The Bulldogs are coming off of losses to No. 48 Wisconsin and No. 75 Brown. Fresno State is led by junior Rudolf Siwy, who is ranked No. 104 in singles play.
TCU and Fresno State have met six times, with the Horned Frogs holding a 5-1 advantage in the series. The two teams last met during the 2001 season, as TCU defeated the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2 for the WAC Championship.
Pepperdine is currently ranked No. 15 and is 6-6 so far this season. Pepperdine is coming off of wins over No. 16 Baylor and No. 19 Texas A&M, and will face No. 12 Illinois and No. 64 Princeton prior to Saturday's match. Pepperdine has three ranked players in singles play, which includes No. 10 Andre Begemann, No. 20 Bassam Beidas and No. 123 Omar Altmann. The duo of Begemann and Altmann is also ranked No. 23.
Pepperdine holds a commanding 15-4 advantage over the Frogs in the overall series that dates back to the 1977 season. Pepperdine defeated TCU 4-0 in their last meeting in the second round of the NCAA Championships in 2006.
