
TCU to play host to Idaho on Monday

FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 63 TCU men's tennis team will host Idaho on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The Horned Frogs posted two shutout victories over UTSA and St. Edward's on Saturday to improve to 2-0, while the Vandals of Idaho are currently 4-2 overall.
TCU won all 12 singles matches during the two contests on Saturday, highlighted by four freshmen earning their first collegiate victories. Three Frogs are currently ranked nationally in singles play, led by senior Cosmin Cotet at No. 27, and followed by freshmen Adrian Simon (No. 54) and Zach Nichols (No. 93). Cotet and Kriegler Brink are also ranked No. 44 in doubles.
The Frogs will meet Idaho for the first time in the series when they open the home slate on Monday. The match will be the first of nine consecutive contests on the TCU campus. Free pizza will be provided to the public.
