
Frogs gear up for first road test of 2008

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Horned Frogs will get their first taste of road action this weekend as they head north to take part in the Dairy Queen Classic hosted by Minnesota. The Frogs will square off against the host school, Minnesota, Friday night at 6:35 p.m. at the H.H.H. Metrodome. On Saturday at noon, the Frogs will face their second ranked opponent of the season, #29 Pepperdine. They will wrap up play in the tournament on Sunday at 11 a.m. against Tulane.

TCU NOTABLES
* This past weekend, the Horned Frogs saw their streak of 16 straight series victories come to an end against #14 CS Fullerton.
* The Frogs recovered with a convincing 6-1 win over Dallas Baptist on Tuesday.
* On the mound, the Frogs got an outstanding effort from sophomore Paul Gerrish, who earned his first win as a Frog.
* Hunt Woodruff connected for the Frogs' first home run of the season in a three-run seventh inning.
