LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The following are quotes from head coach Dan Abdalla and respective players following TCU's 2-1 overtime victory over San Diego State at the 2008 Mountain West Conference Tournament on Wednesday.
Dan Abdalla
"I thought we came out and did a good job of controlling the tempo. The goal we scored was just a great goal and combination between a lot of players. It started with Jackie and then Lizzy and Jordan worked well together on the back end. When those two are on, we are hard to stop. I thought we got a little bit out of whack for a couple of minutes, but the kids did a good job of settling down and taking the ball back at them."
"We now just have to get refocused and reenergized with things. We have a few things we have to take care of, but I think the kids are excited about tomorrow."
Jackie Torda
"Its a great feeling because the whole team worked so hard throughout the whole game. We came here to show that we can play with anyone and we took our first step today. Its great to come out here and get a win because you never know what is going to happen next. This is only the beginning, so we will see what happens tomorrow."
"It's funny because when Kaylie Garcia was standing out their on the corner all I remember was just thinking that she needs to just get the ball in here and give us a chance. She did that and then Katie Taylor got a hit on it sending it into the box. We just scrambled for it. It was a great feeling to watch that ball go into the net and know that we got the victory."

"It is really exciting and I don't really even remember what happened. All I remember really is just jumping in the air and then Jackie sliding in putting the ball into the goal. I just watched the ball roll in and then everyone went crazy."
