Team Notes
*TCU (10-2, 7-1) has reached 10 wins for the third time in the last four years and the sixth time since 2000. It's the fifth 10-win season in the last seven years under head coach Gary Patterson. No other coach in TCU history has more than two 10-win campaigns. Before 2000, TCU only had four 10-win seasons in its history.
*TCU now has 40 wins in the last four seasons, allowing this year's seniors to tie the 1932-35 period for the most wins over a four-year stretch at TCU. The 1935 team won the national championship. Since freshmen weren't eligible to play in the 1930s, the 2008 TCU seniors are the winningest class in school history with a 40-10 record.
*The Horned Frog defense, ranked No. 1 in the nation, held Air Force to a season-low 161 yards of total offense. The Falcons had two rushing plays for 111 yards. On its other 45 snaps, Air Force totaled 50 yards.
*The Frogs' six touchdowns give them 54 on the year and a new single-season school record, surpassing the previous mark of 50 set in 2005.
*With 44 points today, TCU has now scored 420 points on the year to set a new single-season school record. The previous mark was 410 in 2000.
*TCU scored a touchdown on its opening drive of the game for the seventh time in its 12 contests. The Frogs have produced points on their opening possession in 10 of 12 games. In the other two contests, TCU scored on its second series.
*TCU concluded its home season with a 6-0 record and is now 50-6 in its last 56 home games at Amon G. Carter Stadium. The senior class went 21-2 at home over the last four seasons.
*Under Patterson, TCU improved to 51-1 when allowing 17 points or less.
*The Frogs rushed for 183 yards and have now won 29 straight contests when totaling at least 167 yards on the ground.
*The Frogs held a 38:32 to 21:28 edge in time of possession. TCU has won 29 of its last 31 games when holding the edge in time of possession.
*TCU quarterback Andy Dalton completed 21-of-27 passes for 321 yards. The Frogs have a 24-game winning streak when attempting 34 or fewer passes.
*TCU lost the coin toss for just the third time this season. TCU is 8-1 when winning the toss and 2-1 when losing the flip.
Individual Notes

*Jerry Hughes recorded his team-leading sixth forced fumble of the season. Hughes entered the game tied for fourth nationally in the category.

*Young now has 54 receptions on the year, the seventh-best single-season total in TCU history and the most since Cory Rodgers had 61 catches in 2004.
*Young has four 100-yard receiving games on the season and five in his career.

*Dalton had 22-yard touchdown passes to Bart Johnson and Walter Bryant. It was Johnson's first touchdown catch of the season and the second of the year for Bryant.
*Dalton's 11 touchdown passes this season have all come in the last five games.
*Dalton's scoring runs of 8 and 7 yards give him eight rushing touchdowns on the year to place second on the Frogs.
