
Volleyball Adds Another Signee

FORT WORTH, Texas - Head Coach Prentice Lewis added a third member to her signing class Thursday morning. Local product Sloane Sunstrum out of Southlake will be a freshman next season.
Sunstrum has had a decorated prep career at Carroll High School. A three-time letter winner, she has earned six all-tournament nods and has twice been named academic all-district. She was tabbed as the District 5-5A Newcomer of the Year following her sophomore campaign and earned all-district honors as a junior. She is a two-time captain of her high school team. Sunstrum is also a stand-out academically and is a member of the National Honor Society.
As a member of Texas Advantage Volleyball, she has played on numerous successful team's since joining as a 14-year-old. She has twice been named to all-tournament teams while leading them to top-5 national finishes.
"Sloane is a great all-around outside hitter and has a great jump-float serve," said Lewis. "She is going to be a great contributor to our team as a true freshman."
Sunstrum joins Emily Kirby and Kelli Stewart who signed on Wednesday.
