FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Horned Frog volleyball team will take a brief break from conference play for a Tuesday night meeting at Baylor. TCU is riding a two-match winning streak heading to Baylor. Match time is slated for 7 p.m.
TCU vs.Baylor Series History
TCU will be looking for its first-ever win over the Bears. The Frogs are making just their second trip to Waco, having done so back in 2000. The Bears are 4-0 in the series after taking a 3-0 victory a year ago in Fort Worth.
On The Road Again
The road has been a familiar place for TCU this season as it has played 13 matches away from Fort Worth this season. The Frogs are a combined 9-6 on the road, including a 5-5 record on an opponent's court. TCU has five road matches remaining in 2008.
The Upset Bid
For the second straight season, the top-20 Colorado State Rams came to Fort Worth for the Frogs' final home match of the season and for the second season in a row, they left with a loss. TCU upended the No. 13 ranked Rams, its biggest win in school history, by a 3-1 score. Last season, TCU defeated the No. 17 Rams, 3-2.
Home Domination
With just 12 home games this season, the Horned Frogs made the most of playing in front of friendly faces. They finished with a 10-2 record, setting the school mark for fewest home losses this season. The previous record had been four, accomplished in three different seasons. The Frogs are 36-11 at home over the last three seasons.
