
Horned Frogs distance runners earn regional ranking

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's cross country team enters this week ranked in the top-15 of the South Central Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The TCU women are currently ranked No. 10 in the South Central Region. The Horned Frogs are coming off a 12th-place finish at the Cowboy Jamboree. Overall, the women finished Saturday's meet with 355 points ahead of 13 other teams, including Texas Tech and regionally ranked UT-Arlington and Texas State.
TCU will have a week off before traveling to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Chile Pepper Festival on Oct. 18.
