| Punter Derek Wash helped drive an outstanding Frog special team effort against Baylor with a 44.3 yard per punt average on seven kicks. Included among the senior's punts was a career-long 57 yard boot that landed inside the Bears' 20-yard line. |

STONE DISTRIBUTION: Rock Hard Hit of the Week |
| Safety Stephen Hodge laid a vicious hit to Baylor return man Joe Bennettnear the end of the first half following a 6-yard punt return. Hodge's hit kept the Bear offense pinned deep inside its own territory. |

PAPPA'S BURGERS: Sack Counter |
| Cornerback Nick Sanders and linebacker Daryl Washington met at the quarterback to share the Frogs' first sack of the season midway through the third quarter. The stop helped TCU force one of nine Baylor three-and-outs. |

CHARTER COMMUNCATION: Perfect Connection of the Week |
| Quarterback Andy Dalton and wide receiver Ervin Dickerson hooked up for a 16-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach at 23-0. The two Frogs recorded their first respective scoring pass and reception on the play. |

ARMED FORCES BOWL: MWC Breakdown |
| Mountain West teams kicked off the season with a 5-3 record and posted victories over teams from the Big 12, ACC and Pac-10 Conferences. In addition to TCU, Air Force, BYU, UNLV and Wyoming each open their seasons on the right foot. |
