OVERVIEW:Despite the graduation of Michael DePriest and Quentily Harmon, TCU returns a deep corps of receivers. Donald Massey (5-11, 172, Jr.) is a playmaker who will contend for All-MWC honors in 2007. Massey tied a single-game TCU record with three touchdown catches in a 52-0 win over San Diego State. He also posted his first career 100-yard receiving day that game with 100 yards on six catches. Walter Bryant (6-4, 206, Jr.) and Ervin Dickerson (6-1, 200, Sr.) began spring drills in first-team positions. Bryant is a big target who totaled 10 receptions for 98 yards in 2006. Dickerson had a reception in nine of 13 games a year ago, recording 12 catches for 96 yards. Marcus Brock (6-0, 182, Sr.) returned to action last season after missing the 2005 campaign due to injury. Possessing big-play ability, Brock had three receptions while adding two rushing touchdowns on just four carries. Derek Moore (6-3, 177, Sr.) started seven games last season and had eight receptions for 98 yards. Ryan Christian (5-11, 188, So.), a local player from Aledo, had two catches a year ago and figures into the mix this fall. Bart Johnson (6-1, 190, RFr.), Clint Renfro (6-0, 160, RFr.) and Jimmy Young (6-1, 200, RFr.) are a trio of redshirt freshmen who will compete for playing time.
