- Justyn Warner set a personal best en route to winning the 100 meters at the Midwest Regional with a time of 10.30.
- The title was TCU's first in the men's 100 meters since Michael Frater in 2003.
- Warner also ran the third leg on TCU's 4x100 relay team that qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships by placing third with a season-best time of 39.59.
- In the prelims of the 100 meters, Warner qualified second by matching his previous personal-best time of 10.35.
