
Frogs awarded No. 2 seed in MWC Championship

FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 36 TCU women's tennis team earned a No. 2 seed for the 2007 MWC Championship, and will face Wyoming in the quarterfinal round on April 26 at 11 a.m. CT in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The Horned Frogs (16-8, 7-1) tied BYU for the regular season conference title, but the Cougars grabbed the tournament's No. 1 seed because of their head-to-head victory against TCU on April 7.
TCU will face Wyoming for the second consecutive match, as the Frogs shutout the Cowgirls on Sunday, 7-0. It will also be the second straight year the Frogs will face Wyoming in the opening round, as TCU cruised to a 4-0 victory last season en route to claiming the tournament championship.
The winner of the TCU-Wyoming match will face the winner of the UNLV/Utah contest in the semifinals on April 27 at 11 a.m. CT.
