
TCU men's tennis to host Saturday doubleheader

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's tennis team will play host to Abilene Christian on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center, followed by a second match against Wichita State at 6 p.m.
The Frogs (1-8) are coming off of a 5-0 loss to No. 19 Duke on Wednesday. The match saw the return of senior Radu Barbu, who teamed up with Andrew Ulrich in doubles to record the only TCU win of the day.
Abilene Christian is currently 12-3 overall this season, with an 8-1 win over New Mexico Military their last time out on March 3. Wichita State (3-4) is coming off of a 5-2 loss at No. 74 Nebraska on March 10. The Shockers feature the No. 35 doubles tandem in the nation with Goran Vujaklija and Boris Gubic.
The Frogs have met Abilene Christian seven times dating back to 1974, with TCU holding a 7-0 advantage. The series between the Frogs and Shockers goes back to 1980, as TCU holds a 5-3 advantage over Wichita State. TCU hosted both teams in a doubleheader last season, defeating Abilene Christian and Wichita State, 7-0 and 6-0, respectively.
