AUSTIN, Texas - TCU divers Kyle Callens and R.J. Hesselberg competed on the opening day of the Texas Invitational on Thursday at the Lee and Joe Jamall Texas Swimming Center on the campus of the University of Texas.
Hesselberg, who has earned five consecutive Mountain West Conference Men's Diver of the Week awards this season, placed 12th in the one-meter preliminary dive with a score of 255.50. Freshman Kyle Callens followed closely behind, finishing 14th with a score of 245.10.
The Frogs will compete in the three-meter event on Friday and the platform diving event on Saturday. Live results can be found at http://www.tsc.utexas.edu/results/index.htm.
