FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU swimming and diving head coach Richard Sybesma announced the signing of James Thivierge to a National Letter of Intent on Tuesday. Thivierge is the fifth prep standout to sign with the Horned Frogs in the early signing period.
"We are really glad to have James and we feel that he will really help our program in the 200-fly event," said Sybesma.
Thivierge is a freestyle and butterfly swimmer from Redwood City, Calif. Thivierge earned All-America honors in the 100-fly at The King's Academy High School, and placed third in the 50-free and 100-fly at the California High School Central Coast Sectional meet last spring.
