FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU baseball team will wrap up fall drills this weekend with the final three games of the Purple-White World Series beginning Friday night at Lupton Stadium. Purple took the early series lead with a 7-2 win last Friday, but White evened things up with a 7-0 win of their own on Saturday. Game times this weekend are set for 7 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
The only set pitching match-up for this weekend is a rematch of last Friday's duel between Purple's Andrew Cashner and White's Steven Maxwell.
Cashner got a no-decision in Purple's win, allowing two runs on four hits, while striking out three and walking only one in four innings of work. Maxwell also took a no-decision as he twirled five innings, allowing one run on seven hits. He struck out one and walked one.
