Competing in his first collegiate event, freshman Trey Jordan won the men's shot put at the Arkansas Invitational on Jan. 12.

Jordan's toss of 16.75m (54-11.50) topped Ole Miss' Derek McGuire who had a throw of 16.41m (53-10.25).
