Kelley, Steglich tabbed TCU Student-Athletes of the Week

FT. WORTH, Texas - Candis Kelley, women's shot put athlete on the track and field team, and baseball infielder Corey Steglich have been selected as TCU Student-Athletes of the Week. Kelley picks up her second recognition this year, while the weekly honor is a career first for Steglich.
Kelley was runner-up in the women's shot put at the UTA Open last Saturday. She tossed 47-04.25 (14.43m) for her sixth NCAA regional qualifying mark in the event this season.
Steglich hit .500 (7-for-14) in four games last week as the Horned Frogs went 2-2 with a conference series win over Utah to maintain their first place position in the race for the championship. He tallied multi-hit games in the two wins over Utah. He is in the midst of a six-game hit streak heading into the weekend against Texas-Pan American.
