Showgirls represent TCU on national TV

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU Showgirls reached the finals and placed 11th at the National Dance Alliance (NDA) and National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) College Competition in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The event will be seen nationally Saturday at 1 p.m. on CBS (Channel 11, KTVT-TV, in the Fort Worth-Dallas market).

The TCU Showgirls made their third trip to the national competition which attracted over 25,000 fans and participants. In the Division I-A category, the TCU Showgirls competed against a 27-team field that included the likes of Florida State, Louisville, North Carolina, N.C. State, Ohio State, Texas, USC and Virginia Tech.
