FORT WORTH, Texas - The 23rd-ranked TCU men's tennis team will close its home regular-season schedule on Saturday at noon when it entertains No. 34 Rice at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. This season, the Frogs are 8-4 at home and have gone 57-18 in home matches under head coach Joey Rivé.
TCU is coming off back-to-back Wednesday victories over Wichita State (6-0) and Abilene Christian (7-0).
Rice is riding seven-match win streak. The Owls defeated Purdue, South Florida and 37th-ranked Texas Tech to claim the Rice Invitational title on Sunday.
In the last meeting between the two institutions, the Owls downed the Frogs 4-3 on April 1, 2005 in Houston. TCU owns a 30-7 advantage in the all-time series that dates back to 1974.
