
Lady Frogs to host Selection Monday party at TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas - For the sixth straight year, the TCU Lady Frogs will host a watching party for the announcement of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament field. The party will run from 5:30-7 p.m. Monday at the Dee J. Kelly Alumni & Visitors Center on the TCU campus.
Head coach Jeff Mittie and the team will be on hand to watch the show and mingle with fans as they learn whether the team is invited to the field of 64. TCU finished the 2005-06 season with an 18-11 overall record and tied for third place in the Mountain West Conference at 11-5. The Lady Frogs reached the semifinals of the MWC Tournament last week and have a Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) among the nation's top 30.
Members of the media are invited to attend and talk with players and coach Mittie. Snacks and drinks will be provided. The show can be seen live on ESPN from 6-7 p.m. (CT).
