FT. WORTH, Texas -- The Horned Frogs are back for a two-game home stand in the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum as a rematch with Brigham Young is on tap Saturday at 7 p.m. Central.
TCU looks to exact revenge after an 89-80 overtime loss at BYU exactly one month ago.
The Frogs are 1-0 at home against the Cougars. It was nine years ago BYU played TCU in Fort Worth with the Frogs notching a 101-61 victory over the Cougars on Jan. 16, 1997.

ABOUT THE GAME
• TCU will be facing one of its oldest MWC rivals for the second time this season and ninth all-time. BYU extended its series lead to 5-3 with an 89-80 overtime win in Provo on Jan. 25, 2006.
• It was nine years ago when BYU battled the Horned Frogs on their home court. TCU defeated the Cougars, 101-61, in Fort Worth on Jan. 16, 1997.
• The Frogs have three players scoring in double figures (Nile Murry, Brent Hackett and Judson Stubbs), while BYU has only two in double digits (Trent Plaisted and Brock Reichner).
• BYU head coach Dave Rose is in his first year at the helm of the BYU program with a 17-7 overall record. The Cougars, currently tied for third in the MWC race at 9-4, enter Saturday's contest with TCU on three game winning streak.
• Coach Dave Rose has ties to the Lone Star State. The one-time lead Cougar assistant originally hails from Houston, where he played for the University of Houston from 1980-83 and earned his undergraduate degree in 1983.
• The Frogs and Cougars are two of three teams in the MWC in which the head coaches share the family name with a player on their team. Mike Rose, a junior guard, is the nephew of Cougars' head coach Dave, while Neil Patrick Dougherty plays for his dad and TCU head coach Neil. The other team in the league is CSU's redshirt freshman Tim Layer, whose dad is Rams' head coach Steve.
UP NEXT FOR THE HORNED FROGS
TCU will close out the home portion of its 2005-06 regular season against Utah on March 1. A special ceremony for Frog seniors Chudi Chinweze, Nile Murry, Judson Stubbs and David Markley will take place prior to tip-off. The foursome are the first group of players entirely recruited by head coach Dougherty.
The Frogs will wrap up the regular season on the road at UNLV on March 4, with the 2006 Mountain West Basketball Championships beginning Tuesday, March 7, with the eighth and ninth-seeded teams battling in the play-in game of the league's tourney.
LAST TIME OUT: at Colorado State 89, TCU 74
• TCU shot a minimum of 60 percent from the free-throw line for the sixth straight game and 18th time in 2005-06. The Frogs went 20-of-29 at the stripe for a 69.0 clip.
• The Horned Frogs had four players score in double figures for the second game in a row with Judson Stubbs turning in a game-high 18 points. He has led the team in scoring five times this season.
• There have been at least two Frogs finishing with double-digit points in 22 games this season as Nile Murry and Brent Hackett each added 14 points, while Neiman Owens posted a career high with 11.
• Neiman Owens set new career marks in points (11), free throws made (6) and minutes played (35).
• Junior Art Pierce started for the fifth straight game and sixth time in his career. He had four points on the night, while pulling down three rebounds and had one steal.
• The Frogs hit the 40 mark from the field in three of the last four games and four of the last six. TCU posted a 42.1 field-goal clip on 24-of-57 shooting.
• TCU forced its opponents into more turnovers for the 15th time this year.
• Allen Taylor returned to action for the first time since being sidelined for a knee injury prior to the second game against Wyoming on Feb. 8. He set career marks for points (6), field goals made (3), minutes played (15), assists (1) and steals (1).
• David Markley and Rob Staky made their appearance in the game as Markley saw action for the third straight game and eighth time in 2005-06, while Staky has played in six contests for the Frogs.
• The Frogs had four players log a minimum of 30 minutes each for the third time this season.
ROUND ONE: AGAINST THE COUGARS
at BYU 89, TCU 80 (OT)

PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Trent Plaisted scored 22 points and had 16 rebounds, both career highs, to lead BYU to an 89-80 overtime win over TCU Wednesday night.
Plaisted also scored six points in overtime to help the Cougars outscore the Horned Frogs 17-8 in the extra period.
Down 69-61 with 1:04 remaining in regulation, Brock Reichner hit a 3-pointer to cut the lead to five. After Chudi Chinweze hit two free throws, Rashaun Broadus hit a jumper and a 3-pointer on consecutive possessions to cut the lead to 71-69.
The Cougars immediately fouled Chinweze, who missed his first free throw and hit the second with 23 seconds left to give the Cougars an opportunity to tie. Lee Cummard hit the clutch 3-pointer for BYU to tie the game with 10 seconds on the clock.
TCU wasn't able to get a shot off before regulation time expired.
In a game of runs, Jimmy Balderson scored eight of his 10 points during a 14-2 BYU run that gave the Cougars a 55-52 lead with 6:55 remaining in the game. The Horned Frogs immediately responded with a 15-4 run of their own that gave TCU its 69-61 lead.
In the first half, TCU went on a 16-2 run after trailing 17-11 early in the half and had another 8-0 run to give the Horned Frogs their largest lead of the game at 40-25.
Nile Murry led TCU with 18 points and five assists. Chinweze scored 16 points and finished with a team high seven rebounds.
Turnovers were a big problem for both teams. BYU had 13 in the first half and finished with 20, while TCU had 13 in the second half finishing with 22.
