Good News In Frogland
For the first time in six practice sessions, TCU eighth year head coach Jeff Mittie smiled at the conclusion of practice.
After taking a day off from practice Wednesday, the Lady Frogs hit the hardwood for nearly three hours at Ed and Rae Schollmaier Basketball Complex.
"This was the best practice we've had so far," said Mittie. "Everyone stepped up and I was pleased with the overall effort of our entire team."
Coach said he was especially proud of sophomore forward Marissa Rivera.
"Marissa had her best practice today. She rebounded well, made smart decisions and did her part. I thought she really did well."
Guests of Honors
The Lady Frogs had 20 of their most prized fans in attendance Thursday - the Fast Break Club members. The members watched practice and then visited with players at the end of the day.
Quote of the Day
"We didn't get off the ground and rebound." - Brittany Purdom said aloud to Coach Mittie after he asked what the team did wrong at the other end of the court.
