
Men's Cross Country Wins Baylor Bear Relays

Senior standout Kip Kangogo and sophomore Steven Solazzo teamed up to place first at the Baylor Bear Relays on Friday night in Waco, giving the Horned Frogs the team victory at the season-opening cross country event. Fellow Frogs Jackson Langat, a senior, and Matt Manly, a sophomore, placed third at the race.
Official times and places for the men and women will be available on Saturday. The men's relay was a 12K race, with one partner running the first and third 3K legs, and the other taking the second and fourth legs. The women's race consisted of an 8K race, with partners alternating 2K stretches.
