FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's soccer team wraps up a three-game homestand Friday afternoon at Garvey-Rosenthal when they host the No. 10 Pepperdine Waves at 4 p.m. TCU is 2-1 in its last three games and is in search of back-to-back wins for the first time this season. The Waves come into the contest perfect in five outings this season. Katy Buchanan will look to extend her shutout streak after picking up the shutout victory in Sunday's tournament finale. For the second time this season, the Frogs will be heard on the Internet as John Denton and Jackie Rodriguez provide all the action. Fans can hear the game by visiting www.gofrogs.com.
TCU earned a 1-0 double overtime victory over Northeastern State on Sunday. Despite dominating the match from start to finish, the Frogs struggled to find the back of the net. A defensive mistake by the Demons led to the Frogs gamewinning goal. Moran Lavi was hauled down in the penalty area with 1:40 to go in the contest. She was awarded a penalty kick and capitalized, propelling the Frogs to victory.

Against the Waves
The Frogs and the Wave have met just once. The Wave won the lone meeting in 2002 on their home field. This will be Pepperdine's first trip to Garvey-Rosenthal. On September 8, 2002, the Wave defeated TCU 3-0.
Scouting the Waves
The Waves are a perfect 5-0 entering Friday's match against TCU. The 5-0 record includes three wins over ranked opponents. They are led by the big three up front. Lindsey Redlin leads the team with 11 points (4 goals, 3 assists), while Megan Woods and Jenna Fodor are right behind with nine and four points respectively. As well as playing a strong offensive game, the defense has been the strength of the team in 2005. They have allowed just four goals. Anna Picarelli is the main goalkeeper and has made 19 stops for the Waves. She has one shutout to her credit.

The Frogs dominated their last match of the TCU Invitational outshooting the Northwestern State Demons 25-10 but just couldn't find the back of the net in regulation. But with 1:40 remaining on the clock, TCU caught a break when it was awarded a penalty kick. Moran Lavi made the kick count as she blasted it past the keeper for her second goal of the season and a 1-0 TCU win.
OVERTIME SUCCESS
In its 20 year history, TCU has played a total of 44 overtime matches. The Frogs have fared well in that area, compiling an all-time record of 17-7-20. Their first overtime game was played in 1987 in which TCU came away with a 5-3 win in OT. In double overtime contests, the Frogs are undefeated at 5-0-7.
THE WALL
Katy Buchanan has proved to be a wall in goal for the Frogs over the last week. She has led the Frogs to a 3-2-0 record in matches that she starts and has 1.5 shutouts to give her seven in her career, which is third best in TCU history. She has stopped 29 shots, while surrendering just six goals. She has a career-low 1.26 GAA.
FROGS VS. TOP 25 TEAMS
The Frogs will be playing their second match against a top-10 team this season. The Wave come into the game ranked 10th in the nation. This will by the Frogs 21st game against a ranked foe. They are 0-20- in those contests.
