TCU football and Susan G. Komen, Tarrant County, announce partnership

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU football and Susan G. Komen, Tarrant County, have developed a Pink Out event scheduled for the Horned Frogs' Nov. 5 home contest versus Colorado State.
Proceeds from ticket sales purchased through Susan G. Komen, Tarrant County, or TCU's web site, gofrogs.com, will be given directly to the local affiliate of the Komen Foundation.
"Our football team is proud to be associated with such a fine organization as Susan G. Komen," TCU football coach Gary Patterson said. "We are excited about the Pink Out and look forward to doing our part in the fight against breast cancer."
All fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game. Pink game-day t-shirts featuring the TCU and Komen logos will go on sale at the TCU Bookstore and Amon Carter Stadium on Oct. 1. T-shirts are $10, with $4 from each sale benefiting Komen, Tarrant County.
"We are thrilled to partner with TCU on this unique event," Susan G. Komen, Tarrant County, Executive Director Ann Greenhill said. "Our hope is to further educate Tarrant County about breast cancer and raise funds that will directly benefit our local efforts to fight this disease."
Other events for the day include a survivor tailgate party and special recognition of survivors at halftime.
Tickets to the game can be ordered today. Click on the "Order Group Tickets Online" button and use promotional code "Komen" (no quotes necessary) to give proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Tarrant County Affiliate.

End Zone Ticket - Cost: $20 ($5 proceed to Susan G. Komen)
