Walnut, Calif. - TCU distance runner Kip Kangogo shattered the school record in the 5,000 meter run by more than 17 seconds while competing late Friday night at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif. In doing so, Kangogo became the first TCU athlete to run a 5K under 14 minutes.

The rest of the Flyin' Frogs track & field squad will compete on Saturday, April 16 at the Oklahoma Invitational in Norman, Okla.
