McCain Competes At NCAA Championships

Minneapolis, Minn. - Junior Kelly McCain finished in 21st place in the 1-meter springboard event at the NCAA Championships held at the University of Minnesota Aquatics Center. McCain, who is the first male diver in TCU history to qualify for the championship, finished with 283.50 points in the event. Joona Puhakka of Arizona State finished with 386 points to claim the title. The top 16 place winners in the event earn all-America honors.
McCain will compete in the 3-meter competition on Friday. The trials begin at 1:30 p.m., while the finals follow at 7 p.m.
