NEW YORK, N.Y. -- TCU's Cory Rodgers has been named a Sports Illustrated first-team All-America at kick returner.Rodgers leads the Mountain West Conference while ranking second nationally in kickoff return average at 31.7 yards, narrowly trailing Felix Jones of Arkansas (31.9) for the top spot.
A junior from Houston, Rodgers is one of just three players in the country to have two kickoff returns for touchdowns this season.

Rodgers' next touchdown catch will make him the TCU career leader in that category. He's currently tied with Mike Renfro (17, 1974-77) for the top spot. With two receptions for 67 yards in the regular-season finale against UNLV, Rodgers became the sixth Frog to reach 2,000 yards in a career. He now has 2,065.
