ABOUT THE GAME
Game three of the Lady Frogs' four-game stretch away from home will tip off Wednesday at 7 p.m. CST in Norman, Okla., when TCU takes on No. 20/19 Oklahoma in the Lloyd Noble Center. TCU (2-2) went 1-1 during its trip to Mexico for the Caribbean Classic, beating Mississippi State 72-52 in its first game before losing 77-54 to No. 7 North Carolina. OU (5-1) already has six games under its belt thanks to an appearance in the Preseason WNIT championship game, where it suffered its only loss so far to No. 8/6 Connecticut 82-62. The Sooners are coming off a 53-51 win against San Francisco at the Odwalla Classic in San Francisco.
THE TCU-OKLAHOMA SERIES
Wednesday marks the 12th all-time meeting between the Lady Frogs and Sooners. Oklahoma holds the edge at 9-2 and is 5-0 in Norman against TCU. Last year, the Lady Frogs pulled out an 81-65 decision to snap an eight-game losing streak to the Sooners. The Lady Frogs' last time at OU on Nov. 27, 2001, ended in a 76-60 victory for the Sooners.
