Frogs Practice Twice on Wednesday

The TCU Horned Frogs went through the first of two practices on Wednesday morning. The Frogs will take the field again late this afternoon before going through a situational scrimmage on Thursday morning.

Quoting Coach Patterson
"I thought the offense did good on the Mayday (2-minute drill). We went down and scored two touchdowns, even though one was a push off."
"I asked the seniors to step up today before practice and they didn't do a very good job on it."

On expectations this season:
"I want to have a better season than anybody I know. That's how we feel on this TCU defense, we're trying to do better than the past."

On how the offense helps the defense
"We have a great offense as far as the backs and the o-line. It (facing the offense) is just an opportunity to get better. When you see that you have a group of people on the team that is supposed to be one of the top units then it is something that drives you."
