TCU has set its game times and ticket prices for the 2004 football season, according to Athletics Director Eric Hyman. Season and individual game tickets are currently on sale at the TCU Athletics Ticket Office.
The cost of a general public season reserved seat in the lower stands will be $150 for the six-game home schedule of the TCU Horned Frogs. Upper deck season tickets are available for $90. Faculty and staff may purchase a football season ticket for $60, which is 60 percent off of the regular price for a reserved season ticket. In addition, TCU will continue to offer the "Family Frog Zone" discount package. Fans can purchase the two adult and two children Frog Zone package for $192.
Single game tickets are on sale as well. Reserved lower deck seating is available for $30 per game, while individual game tickets in the upper deck are available for $20. End zone adult seats will go for $20, while end zone child seats remain at $10.
"After extensive analysis of universities similar in size to TCU, universities in Conference USA and universities in our future conference, the Mountain West, we have adjusted our ticket prices to become better aligned with these programs," said Hyman. "With a nationally-recognized program, six consecutive bowl appearances and three 10-win seasons in the last four years, we believe that TCU Football continues to offer one of the best values for the entertainment dollar in the area."
The TCU home football schedule features six contests, including three games against teams that went to bowl games in 2003. The home schedule opens with Northwestern visiting Amon G. Carter Stadium on Thursday, September 2, for a nationally-televised game. Game time is set for 8:30 p.m. to accommodate either ESPN or ESPN2. The Frogs will also play at home two other times in the month of September: on September 11 against Metroplex rival SMU and on September 25 against USF. Both contests are set for 6 p.m. starts. In-state rival Houston will be the foe when the two teams get together for a 6 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, October 23 as part of Homecoming weekend. Defending Conference USA champion Southern Miss is slated to visit TCU on Saturday, November 20, while the regular season wraps up on Saturday, November 27 against the Green Wave of Tulane. Each of the two November games are tentatively scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m.
The TCU Ticket Office, located at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum on the TCU campus, is open from 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 817-257-FROG for more information.
