Santa Rosa (Calif.) Junior College cornerback Mike Salvage has signed a national letter of intent to play football for the TCU Horned Frogs, TCU Head Coach Gary Patterson announced today.
Salvage, a 5-10, 190-pounder, played cornerback and returned kicks for the Bear Cubs in the NorCal Conference the past two years after graduating from Santa Rosa's Elsie Allen High School where he starred as a running back and receiver. The Bear Cubs were 7-4 in 2004 under coach Keith Simons. Santa Rosa Junior College also produced TCU linebacker Logo Tevaseu.
Salvage, who has two years of eligibility remaining, selected TCU over Kentucky, Michigan State and Oregon State. He will enroll at TCU in January and will go through the 2005 spring drills with the Horned Frogs.
