TCU General
* TCU is now 4-3 on the season and 2-2 in Conference USA action.
* The Horned Frogs are now 33-40-5 in 78 Homecoming games and have won a school-record six consecutive Homecoming contests.
* Tonight's attendance was 36,276, which ranks as the fourth-largest Homecoming crowd in TCU history.
* TCU has won seven straight against the Houston Cougars and has trimmed Houston's advantage in the all-time series to 13-11.
* TCU has scored at least 31 points in each of its last 10 games against UH.
* TCU has won 16 of its last 17 regular-season home games.
* The Horned Frogs are 11-2 in their last 13 games that have been decided by a touchdown or less.
TCU Offense
* Quarterback Tye Gunn rushed for a pair of touchdowns in a game for the first time in his career. His first-quarter score was his first rushing TD since the 2003 season opener against Tulane.
* Wide receiver Cory Rodgers had seven receptions for 100 yards and one TD. He hauled in a career-long 62-yard pass for a touchdown in the third quarter. It the Houston Hightower product's second career 100-yard receiving game, and both have come against the Cougars.
* In two games against Houston, Rodgers has 13 catches for 271 yards and three touchdowns.
* Running back Robert Merrill rushed for 137 yards on 30 carries. It was his first 100-yard rushing game since gaining 132 at Southern Miss on Nov. 20, 2003, and the sixth of his career.
* TCU rushed for a season-best 229 yards on 51 carries for the game. It was the team's most rushing yards this season (eclipsing 167 yards against SMU).
* Wide receiver Quentily Harmon's 37-yard touchdown reception was the longest catch of his TCU career.

* TCU allowed 377 total yards after allowing the Cougars 684 yards of offense in the 2003 meeting.
