Shooting Frogs prepare for meet at UMKC

Fort Worth, Texas - The rifle team heads to Kansas City for a dual meet against UMKC. Coach Karen Monez says she expects to see improvement from all of the shooters.
Nikki LeCompte has been shooting scores of 570 in practice this week. "Nikki will give a boast to our team score if she can carry that forward into competition," Monez said.
Monez said that Emily Conway is also capable of shotting a 570 this weekend. Dana O'Shea is expected to shoot her score despite battling wrist injuries during the week.
Newcomer Erin Lemmons will travel with the team for the first time. "She is showing a lot of talent and has an excellent work ethic," Monez said.
The team will compete Saturday, October 23rd and will be in action again against Nebraska November 6.
