TCU embarks on a challenging and important week when it travels to Lubbock with the season series on the line versus No. 20 Texas Tech. The rubber game of the squads' five-game season series is set for 7 p.m. at Dan Law Field.
With a win, the Horned Frogs will claim their first season-series victory over Tech since taking both matchups with the Red Raiders in 2000.
The Frogs and Red Raiders are knotted this season (2-2) and all-time (63-63-5). Texas Tech won this year's opener between the two teams, 15-11 in Lubbock, but TCU snapped its 10-game losing streak to Tech by taking two-of-three contests in Fort Worth on February 22-23.
TCU (11-8) is riding a two-game winning streak after losing their previous four in a row. The Frogs took two-of-three games from visiting BYU last weekend at Lupton Stadium.
Texas Tech (15-6) comes into the contest having won two-of-three versus Southwest Texas last weekend. However, the Red Raiders lost the series finale to the Bobcats 15-5 on Sunday, marking Tech's worst home loss in nearly five years.
