Fort Worth, Texas - Sophomore Kelly Seely earned the Conference USA Diver of the Week award for the week of Nov. 17, the conference office announced today. This is Seely's third week to earn this honor, both this season and in her career. The honor comes after a one-week break from the two-week monopoly TCU had held on the performer of the week honors in swimming and diving.
In Seely's third week in the C-USA spotlight, the Friendswood, Texas, native helped TCU to wins over North Texas, University of Louisiana-Monroe, and Centenary. She swept the events in Denton and nabbed two second-place finishes in the double dual meet against ULM and Centenary.
TCU's women's team is now 6-1 in the season and the men are 5-0. The women are back in action at the Rice Invitational Nov. 7 at 7 pm. and Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. in Houston.
