"I am very excited about the progress our team made during a very short period of time," said Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle. "We are definitely a better team now than we were a month ago. That being said, we have a long way to go to reach the goals I have set for this team. It is within our reach but will take a great commitment on the part of the players, a lot of improvement and some good health."
The Frogs will return to the practice field on January 20 to prepare for the upcoming season. TCU is set to open the season with a three-game series against NAIA member, Dallas Baptist beginning on February 5 at Lupton Stadium. First pitch of the season is slated for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5.
