
Lady Frogs Open Home C-USA Action on Friday

About Friday's Game...
The Lady Frogs (7-9, 0-3 C-USA) open home Conference USA play Friday night as they host East Carolina (8-7, 0-2) at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are looking for their first C-USA win of the season. TCU has dropped games at Houston, Cincinnati and Louisville, while the 49ers have lost twice to their travel partner, Charlotte. Freshmen Ashley Davis and Andrea Honer will be signing autographs following Friday night's game.
The two squads have met only one time prior to tonight's contest. Last season, TCU picked up the 58-42 victory in Greenville, N.C. (Jan. 27, 2002).
East Carolina scoring is led by Jennifer Jackson and Courtney Willis, who are averaging 15.5 and 14.9 points per game, respectively. The pair also paces the team in rebounds as Willis has grabbed 7.8 boards per game, while Jackson is pulling down 7.3.
Shanita Sutton has blocked 11 shots this season. Tali Robich has dished out 61 assists in 15 games, and has knocked down 26-of-33 free throw attempts, good for a .788 free throw percentage.
Three Pirates have more than 20 steals each this season. Willis has 29 to her credit, while Robich has 26 and Ayana McWilliams has 24.
