TCU Baseball Season Opener Moved to February 2

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU baseball head coach Lance Brown has announced that the Horned Frogs' 2003 opening day contest with Metroplex-rival Texas-Arlington has been moved to Sunday, February 2. First pitch for the first-ever game at Lupton Stadium and Williams-Reilly Field will be at 2 p.m. The contest replaces the originally scheduled February 5 season opener between the two teams.
Due to continued renovations at UT-Arlington's home stadium, the two squads have also adjusted another pair of dates in their 2003 series. The February 11 matchup between TCU and UTA, originally scheduled to be played in Arlington, will now take place at 3:30 p.m. at Lupton Stadium. The teams' February 28 showdown has been changed from a 3:30 p.m. to a 6:30 p.m. start at Lupton Stadium.
Single-game tickets for the Frogs' entire 30-game slate at Lupton Stadium will go on sale to the public on Monday, January 13 at 8:30 a.m. For ticket information, call (817) 257-FROG.
