FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU football team will host its annual Meet the Frogs day on Saturday, August 24 from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Amon Carter Stadium. Highlighted activities following the 12:00 p.m. simulated game include a kids' clinic and an autograph session. TCU head coach Gary Patterson, Horned Frog players, the TCU cheerleaders and SuperFrog will be in attendance at the event.
At approximately 1:30, children will be invited onto the field for a special kids' clinic. The youngsters will rotate through each of the six stations (quarterbacks/wide receivers, running backs, offensive line, defensive line, linebackers and cornerbacks/safeties), spending time learning the game's fundamentals from the Horned Frog players. A cheerleading station featuring TCU cheerleaders also will be available for those interested.
At the conclusion of the clinic, all TCU players will hold an autograph session on the east side of the stadium. Throughout the day, Horned Frog fans may enjoy free drinks, popcorn and frozen treats. In addition, kids will be able to sign up to join the Jr. Frog Club and fans may purchase season tickets or find their seats for upcoming games.
Meet the Frogs is sponsored by the TCU Alumni Association, Sodexho-"Your Horned Frog Concessionaire," the Frog Club and TCU Sports Marketing. For more information, contact the TCU Alumni Office at (817) 257-7803 or (800) 646-4TCU.
