TCU Postgame Notes
General Notes
* TCU is now 4-1 on the season and has won four straight games.
* TCU is now 9-13 all-time against Houston, and has a five-game winning streak against the Cougars.
* The Horned Frogs have scored at least 31 points in each of the last eight contests against Houston.
* TCU is 31-40-5 all-time in Homecoming games, which date back to 1927. TCU has now won four straight Homecoming games for the first time in school history.
* TCU received touchdowns from all three phases in today's game: the offense, defense and special teams. The touchdowns came in four different ways: rushing, passing, interception return and kickoff return.
* The score of this year's TCU-Houston game is identical to the final score of last year's matchup in Houston.
* Today's attendance was 24,088.
Defensive Notes
* Houston's touchdown at the 3:33 mark of the first quarter was the first first-half touchdown allowed by the Horned Frogs in 128 minutes. The last opening-stanza TD yielded by the Frogs came at the 14:40 mark of the first half of the Northwestern contest on Sept. 7, 2002.
* The Horned Frogs still have not yielded a touchdown in the second quarter this year, a span of 75 minutes.
* With five more today, TCU has now forced 20 turnovers in five games this year, an average of 4.0 per game.
* Kenneth Hilliard's 43-yard interception return for a touchdown was his first career TD.
* It was TCU's first interception return for a touchdown since November 21, 1998 against UNLV.
* With two interceptions today, the Horned Frogs have eight for the season, one more than all of last year.

Offensive Notes
* Redshirt freshman quarterback Tye Gunn made his first career start, replacing the injured Sean Stilley.

* Gunn found eight different receivers on his 15 completions.
* Gunn scored on the ground and also threw a touchdown pass.
* Tight end Chad McCarty scored a touchdown for the second straight game.
* TCU's 31 points are the second-most scored by the Frogs this season.
Special Teams Notes
* Placekicker Nick Browne connected on a 38-yard field goal attempt in the first quarter to push his season mark to 11-for-11. His next attempt, a 31-yard yarder was blocked, snapping his perfect start at 11 makes.
* TCU wide receiver LaTarence Dunbar returned a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown. It was his third career kickoff return for a touchdown, becoming the first player in TCU history to have three.
