
Santee named C-USA Co-Player of the Week

TCU freshman Corey Santee and Charlotte's Cam Stephens are Conference USA Co-Players of the week for the period ending December 30. Santee and Stephens both recorded double-doubles to lead their respective teams to wins over the weekend.

TCU's COREY SANTEE is the Conference USA Co- Player of the Week for the period ending Dec. 30. Santee came off the bench against Baylor to score a career-high 32 points and distribute 10 assists. He hit 13-of-20 shots, including 6-of-11 three pointers. He scored 20 of the 32 points in the second half. Santee leads the Frogs in scoring with an average of 15.9 points, plus he has already dished out 95 assists.

Charlotte forward CAM STEPHENS is the Conference USA Co-Player of the Week for the period ending Dec. 30. Charlotte defeated George Washington, 97-87, on Dec. 29. On a career night, Stephens notched his fourth double-double of the year with a career-best 24 points and 15 rebounds, which matched his career-best. He hit 7 of 9 shots from the floor, and 10-of-11 from the foul line, including a pair with 1:17 left after GW had rallied from a double-digit deficit to within five. His dunk with 45 seconds to play iced the victory.
