
Senior Frogs Pace TCU Golfers on Day One

Tied for third place individually, are seniors Bret Guetz and Steve Shuert of TCU who each shot even-par scores of 142. Teammate Andy Doeden resides in a tie for sixth place after shooting a 145 (three-over). He has finished in the top 20 in each of the Frogs' first four events this season.
Junior Adam Rubinson also is among the top 20 (147, T-14th). J.J. Killeen scored a 149 to place in a tie for 27th.
Individually, Alan Murphy of Toledo shot a 134 (64-70) to lead by five shots over second place Tyler Mays of Long Beach State. The two players were the only golfers out of 87 entrants to shoot under par over the first 36 holes. Murphy's 64 in the first round in a new course record. The final round of the tournament will be held on Friday, November 9 beginning at 7:15 am.
