Njubi places 2nd, Keitany finishes 4th in Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival

Fayetteville, Arkansas - TCU's Eliud Njubi finished a strong second in the 10th Annual Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival Saturday, while female cross country runner Glady's Keitany finished fourth.
In the overall team competition, the women finished tied for 9th, while the men finished 23rd. Arkansas, the host school, captured the team titles in both the men's and women's races.
Njubi finished the 10K course with a time of 30:02, 10 seconds behind Arkansas' Daniel Lincoln (29:52).
Keitany covered the muddy 6,000-meter course at Agri Park in 21:17, 21 seconds behind Kansas State's May Mortimer (20:56). Cindy Dietrich came in 16th overall with a time of 22:10.
