Women's Soccer Blanks Southwest Texas, 4-0

FORT WORTH, Texas (September 1) - The TCU women's soccer team defeated first-year team Southwest Texas, 4-0, Wednesday. This marked Southwest Texas' second game ever.
TCU's offensive attack started in the 17th minute with freshman Jenn Coulson's (Southlake, Texas/Carroll H.S.) goal from a Tiffany Goetz (Arlington Texas/Oakridge H.S.) assist.
Coulson also added two assists in the match, her first coming on sophomore midfielder Jeanine Rogers' (Arlington, Texas/Martin H.S.) goal in the 37th minute and her second on sophomore Ali Schloegel's (Leewood, Kan./St. Thomas Aquinas) goal in the 43rd minute.
Senior midfielder Allison Calleri (Arlington, Texas/Martin H.S.) scored her second goal of the season in the 40th minute after rebound her own shot that was first deflected by Southwest Texas goalkeeper Kristen Tutt.
Southwest Texas went the first 44 minutes without a shot until senior forward Nicole Potenza attempted a shot that was saved by TCU goalkeeper Keith-Ann Wagner (Arlington, Texas/Martin H.S.). TCU outshot the Bobcats 21-5 for the game.
Sophomore transfer Danielle Reitnouer (Monrovia, Calif./Sacramento State) and sophomore Adrianne Labovitz (Chesterfield, Mo./Parkway CentralH.S.) shared goalkeeping duties in the second half for the Frogs.
TCU travels to Waco, Texas, on Friday to play LSU at 5 p.m. at the Baylor Bear Invitational. The Frogs will face host Baylor at 1 p.m. Sunday.
