TCU Shoots 289, Tied for 11th

OPELIKA, Auburn (June 1) - Andy Doeden and Jamie Kellam each shot a three-under 69
in the third round of the NCAA Men's Golf Championships Friday, leading the
Frogs to a team total of 281 (eight-under). The TCU men are currently tied
for 11th with a 54-hole total of 859 (six-under par). The Frogs, who are
tied with Northwestern, trail WAC rival Fresno State by two strokes.
Oklahoma State fired a 275 (13-under) to build a three-shot lead over the
Texas Longhorns.
Doeden enters Saturday's final round tied for 20th with a four-under score of 212. Aaron Hickman, who shot a one-under 71 on Friday, is tied for 24th at three-under. Jamie Kellam is tied for 42nd at even par.
