Frogs Advance to Final Two Rounds at NCAA Golf Championships

OPELIKA, Ala. (June 2) The TCU men's golf team fired a one-over 289 for the second consecutive round, placing them tied for ninth in the 2000 NCAA Men's Golf Championships. Only the top 15 teams in the 30-team field advance to the final two rounds of the championships. Oklahoma State is in first place with a 36-hole total of 557 (-19), 21 shots ahead of TCU's total of 587 (+2). The Frogs are tied with Auburn, Clemson and WAC rival Fresno State. Aaron Hickman posted an evern-par round of 72 to end the round tied for 16th.
